What is headless CMS?

Content is the main focus of Headless Content Management systems. The purpose of a headless CMS is not to display content to users but to be a content repository, allowing other systems to pull content and use it in a way users need it. These systems are unaware of how your material is delivered to the end-user by design. It could be a website, an app, or an e-mail message. Headless CMS can provide content to feed that experience, but you need another system (e.g. a static website generator like GatsbyJS) and a developer to present it to the user.
